Crispin makes it three from three. A strong field of 41 riders signing on for the third round saw a very competitive race with crispin put under pressure early by Paul Lloyd, Peter Banham and last years series winner Lewis King. Scott Chalmers made a good start to move up the grid and to latch on to Mike Simpson in the chasing group behind.
Paul Lloyd kept the pressure on and took the lead for three laps with Crispin close behind and Peter Banham a further 30 secs back. Paul had some trouble with his bike and made a change six laps into the race and conceded the lead to Crispin and dropped behind Peter. But with a few quick laps Paul regained contact with Cripsin and they were together in the final few twists in the track next to the rugby ground. Crispin was leading the pair through the technical turns and managed to keep his lead to the line to take the win. He is looking on track to take the overall prize of the CHS holiday in spain!
